With accumulated experience of over 100 years, FCC Construcción is the Infraestructure Department of the FCC Group, a global environmental services, water and infraestructure group.

It’s activities cover construction and engineering within civil works and building.

It was a pioneer in developing it’s own business model in a profitable and sustainable manner, banking on local development and contributing to the improvement of local people’s quality of life.

Ramalho Rosa Cobetar - Sociedade de Construções, S.A., or rather RRC, was founded in 1997 as the outcome of the incorporation of Cobetar in Ramalho Rosa following the agreement between FCC and Dragados.

FCC Citizen Services has been the sole shareholder of RRC since 1998, with a capital stock of 11 million euros and headquarters in Lisbon.

In recent years, governmental measures to control public budget have led to a recession in construction activity. RRC has adapted its structure to the volume of activity, promoting the implementation of quality and environmental management systems since 1999.

As a result, RRC has become the first Portuguese construction company to obtain the ISO 9001:1994 and ISO 14001:1999 certifications. It was awarded the OHSAS 18001 certification in 2010.
